Australian Foundry Conference 2018
The event was very well organised with a good turnout despite the unusually very damp conditions experienced in Brisbane and the Gold Coast Queensland during those 3 days. Did someone mention sunny Queensland? GOLD coast?
Back indoors, all papers were well delivered and offered a variety of interesting and varied topics with some very useful information for Australian foundries.
Generally, the business mood was positive with most members feeling that whilst the road ahead is far from being smooth, it at least offers opportunities not to be missed.
The Gala evening was a great success and a chance of local dolphins performs their routine which would have taken years to learn.
Next Year’s event is scheduled to be in Sydney and continues the positive theme for Australian foundries with an extra day for the event being scheduled. Everyone feels sure that the New South Wales event will be a great one and one not to be missed so see you all there
