Welcome one and all to the May 2017 edition of the blog. Time is fleeting, it is already May, the 5th month of the year, 5/12ths , 42%, and the 2nd month of the 2nd quarter of the calendar fiscal year. Let’s move along little doggies…
Simon nor I have aged a bit in the nine years… we are immortal as we use SYNCHRO ERP! We’ve come a long ways Simon!
The AFS MetalCasting Congress this year was most outstanding! The fine folks at the American Foundry Society always do a bang-up “great” job of putting it all together and making it look easy. It is always great to see Joe Murphy, Leo Baron, Shannon Wetzel, and many others. I even got to shake hands with the legendary Al Spada who was presented an achievement award.
Guess what company sponsored this year’s lanyards? Please wear them with pride and when your liquid metal operations are considering software, think no farther than around your neck!

Bite Size - Heat Treatment Module
Heat Treatment is important to many metalcasting operations so that the metallurgical or chemical properties can be altered to the customer or ASTM specifications.
