Baby, It’s Cold Outside!
Some days it is simply too cold and the last thing you want to do is leave the house. Here is a list of things to do at home!
1. Make a meal.
Now I’m far from a cook in fact it is my least favourite activity however it really can help fill a day and you can do it alone or get the family involved. Simple dishes like pizza or fajitas are simple. I personally find is easy to get everything prepared and set it up as a make your own bar and go to town.
2. Decorate cookies or gingerbread.
This is a messy activity but the results are worth it!
3. Crafts.
Again, another activity that can get a bit messy but make those handmade decorations, make Christmas cards or up-cycle old clothes or furniture.
4. Scrapbook.
With the New Year looming it is a perfect time to start a scrapbook for 2023!
5. Bucket List.
While you have the time it is worth reflecting over the last year and setting goals for 2023. You can make a standard list or mix it with crafts and make a beautiful display of the things you want to achieve.
6. Play a board game/do a puzzle.
Simple but satisfying.
7. Christmas Movie Day.
This has got to be my favourite. Getting the duvet off the bed, finding as many pillows as possible, Christmas pjs on, hot chocolate at the ready and a strong line up of Christmas films! (SEE MY PREVIOUS BLOG FOR SOME FILM IDEAS)
Enjoy!

Thoughts on Golf
Golf is a game I have played most of my life. I have been lucky enough to play courses in England, Scotland and Ireland. I have ventured to Le Touquet in France and the Algarve in Portugal
I learned to play in East Africa where Hippo’s from the lake left their footprints on fairways and greens and these were considered natural hazards.
