> Scheduling Queue Days
Queue days have been added to the already numerous Scheduling options and are defined as waiting time at selected processes. They then are added to the value derived at from the Lead Days and Typical Quantity.
Examples
Typical lead days | Typical Quantity | Queue Days | Order Quantity | Total days at this process (excluding other restrictions) |
2 | 99999 | 0 | 50 | 2 |
2 | 25 | 0 | 50 | 4 |
2 | 99999 | 2 | 50 | 4 |
2 | 25 | 2 | 50 | 6 |
Queue Days are extremely useful to represent your current capacity movement from your set lead days, perhaps due to a recent influx of orders and allows the Foundry to agree to delivery dates for new ongoing orders which are representative of this current overload without having to compromise the original lead days.
