Goat Man, Mouseman, Cat Man , Snake Man………….and now Birdman
So today a small bird – I think a swallow or could be a house martin – gets into the house.
Being the bird, they are they are as high up in the room as they could possibly get.
I get all the windows open and the double doors to the garden.
Despite all encouragement when made to move he/she flies as close to the ceiling as they can get and don’t go anywhere near the open doors or windows to the great outdoors and freedom.
So, I’m thinking ‘trap’ them in a box to take them outside – it flies off doing it’s circuits as soon as you get anywhere near it. Cunning plan no 10 is get a net and try and capture it and take outside. Have I got a net?
The closest thing is a leaf and floating debris remover for a pool.
So, we give it a go – can’t trap it but after about 10 minutes of encouragement and exasperation it is finally out and away it goes.
Another animal saved!
Who knows what might arrive next!
