IFEX 2016 Read Our Review
- IFEX 2016 Summary
2016 see IFEX returning to Coimbatore for its 64th edition and which turned out to be quite a memorable positive occasion as this is the biggest show ever with all 26 chapters in attendance as well as over 290 exhibitors of which 90 are foreign based. The total square footage was over 1500 sq meters. It is no accident that IFEX is one of the largest Foundry Trade Fair in Asia. Coimbatore was buzzing with foundry men from all over India and aboard. Add to this a positive business mood in India right now and the scene was set for a successful show.
From the moment the very welcoming opening ceremony concluded visitors took to the 4 halls in great numbers keen to enquire about new opportunities and of course the Synchro stand was no exception to that. Visitors continually took to our booth keen to explore how our great product can assist in making their foundry work smarter. SYNCHRO ERP continues to expand and offer real value for money to all Customers from all over the world and as a result genuine interest was shown from all sizes and types of foundries in wanting to purchase the software.
This show was also a great opportunity to meet up with our many existing Customers from the region and catch up on current progress as well as new modules.
SYNCHRO ERP was in attendance in support to our agent Swami Babu, a well-known and respected figure within the Indian Foundry circles and this only made the SYNCHRO booth even more buzzing with excitement and opportunities.
After 3 strong days of nonstop enquiries and discussions we all left tired but happy to have met so many passionate and enthusiastic foundry men be they business owners or managers and we are most grateful for the warm welcome extended to us from everyone in India.
Big thanks from SYNCHRO ERP

Shane's Blog - February 2017
Paranoia
Howdy from Texas where it is mid-February and we are having a false Spring,
When it comes to computer and network security, I am down right paranoid. So much of our private information is stored across cloud server farms and on our metalcasting and home computers. Every hour we learn of another website that has been hacked. I thought I would devote this month’s blog to keeping your information as safe as can be. -
Lynx Watching – or not
I had watched a National Geographic Programme on the Iberian Lynx that live in Spain in one of two national parks. There has been a conservation programme to restore their numbers through a breeding programme and then releasing them into the wild.
