Clicking Properties will open a new window detailing various additional information about the selected batch.

Inventory available will be offered during sales orders entry or can be allocated to a sales order from this window.

  • Material Inventory

The Material Inventory screen allows the user total control of purchased inventory held in stock. It provides the facility to view and edit inventory items along with the ability to enter chemical and physical information relating to materials.

The Material Inventory screen is split into 2 areas
1. Materials Held with Stock List (Left Side)
2. Management of Stock Materials (Right Side)

  • Materials Held with Stock List

The ‘Materials Held with Stock’ is a list of material stock presently held within the company, it provides details on the material name, makeup code (when used) and available quantity. The selected materials detail will be highlighted in the ‘Management of Stock Materials’ portion of the screen.

Show All’ tick box is selected the list will show all the materials registered on the system, regardless of whether stock is held or not.

The ‘Include batches with zero available’ will produce a list of stock materials with available stock and include the materials where stock is not available. This facility would allow the re-allocation of stock materials that had been allocated to a particular job to be changed to a different job if required, i.e. when a ‘rush’ order had been received and the stock was available but had already been allocated to a job that was not required immediately, this could be reallocated to the rush job, allowing the job to be completed.

  • Management of Stock Materials

The ‘Management of Stock Materials’ is a breakdown of the individual stock item highlighted in the ‘Material Held with Stock List’. The display on the screen provides details of the ‘Totals’, whether they are ‘Available’, ‘Quarantined’ or ‘On Order’. Clicking Properties will open a new window detailing various additional information about the selected batch.

Manage the individual batches using the option buttons located at the bottom of the Material Inventory ‘Management of Stock Material’. These options allow the user to manipulate stock items, view stock item information and to create new stock item batches.

Split & Transform’ enables you to split batches whilst retaining its traceability. The material will be split and you will need to choose a new Material code for it. This feature is more of interest is you have materials stored by rolls and recorded in metres by length and width

‘Create Adjustment’ allows the total quantity to be adjusted as a whole or as individual batches.

‘Chem & Phys Results’ is where the stock item has been received with either or both ‘Chemical & Physical’ certification. The certification results can be entered on to the system at this point or adjustments to results that have been entered under the ‘Target Specification’ in the ‘Chem & Phys’ command can be made.

  • Manual Usage

In normal circumstances the stock held in inventory is automatically ‘issued’ through the ‘Deduct Material' when Product Booked’ or ‘Deduct Material when Product Scrapped’ in the Product Routing screen.
However, it is possible to deduct stock from inventory and allocate it to a ‘job’ manually.

  • Received Materials

Stocks are managed from a similar window where alternative locations can be set

A SYNCHRO wizard takes the user through the easy process of deducting inventory during which stage it may be allocated to a specific order being made for very accurate materials usage reporting and costing.

  • Reservations

The reservation menu enables the allocation of both Products and materials to specific orders in advance of their actual usage, a useful tool when a customer has requested a very specific item.

 Release Reservation

This window enables the User to see all live reservations filtering by Products or Materials. Once the desired reservation has been identified, it can be released manually using the ‘Release’ button provided
