    2019 has been a better year for the vegetable patch – primarily because there has been an unbroken water supply unlike last year when there was little or no water for a 6 week period.

    It is now not only the very warm part of the year – we are around 40c every day – but the vegetables are ripe and ready.

    Another lap of the sun and another year older for all of us, but namely today the youngest in our family, little Finley Arthur. Finn’s come a long way in his two years and is now speaking in short sentences, but usually starting with “duggee, hey daddy duggee, is duggee daddy, look!”.

    Snap decision one Thursday to drive to see Cartagena in Murcia which is south eastern Spain. As ever sat nav utterly accurate – 4 hours to do 405km. Great drive around Granada and up into the wooded hills on very quiet roads. Scenery changes and the Land and hills become very dry with little vegetation. Murcia is a very dry part of Spain.

    Since I started running I’ve added some targets…. 5Km (Done), 10km (Done), 15 Km(Done), 18 Km (Done). The next step was quite challenging, especially when you travel a lot and need to do extra effort to keep the training routine.
